OktoberForest Trivia Night at Heavy Seas Alehouse

October 12, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

OktoberForest is a nationwide Conservancy initiative highlighting the importance of healthy forests and clean water. We all know that our body is made up of 60 percent water, but did you know that 95 percent of beer is water? And more than 50 percent of America’s water comes from our forests?

Join us for a forest and clean water trivia night at the Arlington Heavy Seas Alehouse. Mark Bryer, Director of the Conservancy’s Chesapeake Bay Program, will emcee the event alongside Campbell Moore, Program Manager for TNC’s Central Appalachians Program.

This is a great opportunity for beer enthusiasts to meet Conservancy staff and to learn more about our work to protect and restore healthy forests in the Central Appalachians.

This event is free and open to anyone 21 years and older.
