Everyday, Delicious Healthy Meals with Chef Juliette

February 11, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

You are Invited!

Join Chef Juliette G. Tahar, Founder & Executive Director of Healthy Living, Inc for our inaugural healthy cooking class at our new HQ in the Log Cabin Room at the Historic Thurgood Marshall Center for Service & Heritage.

The goal of these classes is to learn to design, plan and make delicious, healthy everyday meals. Each menu incorporates a protein, whole grain and fresh seasonal produce that come together with herbs and spices to create a balanced, satisfying and nutrient dense meal. Emphasis is on fresh, seasonal, unprocessed, whole foods.

Demonstration style class with a twist: You get to enjoy the full meal when you arrive so you know what the instructor is working towards as they show you how it all came together.

Menu for Feb 11:

Gluten Free, but not vegan – except for the fish, no other animal product is used

* Salmon Burgers with Shallot Tomato Sauce

* Mashed Celeriac & Yukon

* Grilled Portobello Mushroom Strips

* Winter salad with Light Walnut Oil Vinaigrette
