The DUG Network and Rooting DC are partnering together by sharing email lists to increase the capacity of the monthly DUG Network newsletter, to increase the awareness of the rooting DC Annual Conference and to increase each other’s capacity to promote and build the DC Urban Ag movement.

Resource Networking Partnerships

The DUG Network is an all volunteer cooperative managed by DC community members who want to spend their time connecting people with resources for good causes.  Many of our cooperative members are working on managing other resource sharing websites in partnership with the DUG Network to increase our resource sharing capacity.  Check out some of our resource partners below.

People’s School of DC
A volunteer cooperative organizing and connecting people to social justice education and resources in DC. The goal of the People’s School of DC is to connect people to existing DC social justice initiatives and to develop new social justice resources and education opportunities, without traditional academic barriers, in the greater DC area.

DC Food Recovery Working Group
We are a consortium of individuals from over 50 different organizations working to reduce food waste and feed more people in the Washington, DC region. Want to reduce your “foodprint”? Explore our site to learn about how you can take action, and follow our blog and social media accounts for the latest on local events and initiatives

a local resource for improved animal welfare options for the greater Washington, DC area, which includes a plethora of sources for more humane food, clothes, products and pet services
