Relationship with Self:Morning/Daylong Retreat – 3/5/17

This workshop has now added a morning with Christine Dance and is a follow up to our “New Year, New You” event that happened in early January. This section of the daylong retreat program will start at 9 am and ends at 11:45 am.
You will learn how to cultivate a sense of inner calm and leave with strategies to bring contemplative practices to daily life and for establishing or renewing a meditation practice. We will also engage nature based practices through storytelling, journaling, and discussion that connect us to the land.
Throughout the day you will receive instruction on the how and why of mindfulness. You will be guided through a variety of formal and informal mindfulness practices – including mindfulness of the body and breath, gentle yoga practice, and tea, walking, and sitting meditation.

Lunch is included during this day long retreat – please let us know if you are vegan or vegetarian.
