Introduction to Permaculture
April 1, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Permaculture is a design science that works with nature in an effort to meet human needs while increasing the fertility and diversity of the living systems that sustain us. In this way we aim to create a culture/way of life that can continue indefinitely.
Join Eric Lewis for an introductory talk on permaculture. He’ll discuss soil building techniques, how to retain water in a landscape, perennial vegetables, and turning trees with edible fruits and nuts into a multigenerational forest garden.
*This workshop is presented as a part of Community Forklift’s 8th Annual Garden Party. For more info, please see our website: http://CommunityForklift.org/News-Events/8th-Annual-Garden-Party-and-Spring-Sale/
