ACE Potomac Watershed Cleanup

April 8, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

ACE is bringing citizens together to help protect Arlington’s environment at the 29th Annual Potomac Watershed Cleanup held in conjunction with the Alice Ferguson Foundation. The Potomac River Cleanup, lead by the Alice Ferguson Foundation, brings volunteers together throughout the month of April to conduct cleanups at more than 500 sites along the Potomac River.

On April 8th, ACE is cleaning up one of the areas most important watersheds. Water runoff from paved surfaces, buildings, and landscaped plots ends up in our streams carrying with it things like soil, fertilizer, trash and debris. And, every one of those streams eventually flows into the Potomac River and ends up in the Chesapeake Bay. If you’re ready to contribute your time, energy or resources to keep our waterways healthy and clean, sign up by clicking the link below to join us for the 2017 ACE Potomac Watershed Cleanup.
