Learn to make your own tools and adornments from deer bone, using only stone, water, and local plants. In this workshop you’ll learn how to select, break, shape, and polish bone for its desired function. Depending on choice of instruments, each student can expect to finish one to two projects to take home. Possibilities include a large or small awl or pick, sewing needle, flesher/scraper, or bead. This workshop will require above all patience, endurance, and attention to detail.
Prepare to get a little wet!
