Cooking with Concepts from the Edgar Cayce Readings

April 22, 2017 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

The American psychic Edgar Cayce (1877 – 1945) gave thousands trance “readings” over his lifetime, for individuals who came to him suffering from various medical conditions. The information given in these readings addressed many aspects of healing, including diet. If the recommendations were followed, patients experienced healing, though doctors had been unable to help them. In this class some of the most common diet recommendations from the Cayce readings will be explored, using the construction of a simple, raw salad to illustrate them.

The format will be a demonstration of preparation techniques, accompanied by a discussion of the philosophy behind each concept. The overriding emphasis will be on showing how to achieve NOURISHMENT as opposed to simply eating food. The demo/lecture will be followed by a shared lunch, where all participants will enjoy the results of what has been prepared. If you struggle with health or diet issues, this informative session may give you some new tools to employ on your own path to greater health and vitality.

About the Instructor:
Diana Berchiolli has been a student of the Edgar Cayce material for over 40 years. During this time, she has experimented extensively with the diet and health recommendations. She will share her personal experience in finding healing solutions through applying the principles found in the Cayce readings.
