Creek Freaks Training for Educators

Creek Freaks equips educators with the knowledge and skills to deliver fun and effective watershed education. Join us on September 15th for a workshop to explore exciting hands-on lessons and curriculum. We will even venture outside for stream monitoring!
The program is brought to you by the Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin ICPRB, Izaak Walton League of America, and Fox Haven Farm & Retreat Center.
What We Cover:
– The basics of watersheds and the benefits of protecting them.
– Activities you can take back to your students.
– Get your feet wet in the stream to learn physical, chemical and biological monitoring techniques to assess stream health.
Cost: $15 covers lunch, materials and curriculum
