Farm Tour & Harvest Sale

Join us on the farm for tours, farm stand, live music by #DrPumpkin, lemonade, sprinkler and games.
There will be Red Wiggler Certified Organic produce and local honey for sale. Bring a picnic and make a day of it!
TOURS: Offered on the hour (will add tours as needed), all of our tours will give participants an idea of our unique mission, sustainable farming practices, and how we create an inclusive environment for all on the farm. In addition, each tour will have a specific focus:
10:15am- w/ Executive Director, Woody Woodroof. Great for those interested in how Red Wiggler got it’s start and how we operate as a non-profit production farm.
11:00am- w/ Education & Outreach Coordinator, Molly McCracken. Join Molly for an interactive tour full of tasting, smelling, and discovery! Great for kids or anyone who likes to get a little dirty while learning about how we care for the earth and our community.
12:00pm- w/ Volunteer & Grower Coordinator, Katie Junghans. Learn what we’re growing, how we’re growing it and what makes interactions between volunteers and our Growers so impactful. You’ll be sure to get your hands in the compost on Katie’s tour!
1:00 pm- w/ Field and Facilities Manager, Melissa McLearen. For all the farming geeks out there! Learn about how we manage our fields, keep our soil healthy and defend against pests. This one is sure to be interesting and in-depth. Great for beginning farmers!
