Fight for Forests Rally!

CBF, Maryland League of Conservation Voters, Sierra Club Maryland Chapter, South River Federation, and Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake are hosting a “Fight for Forests Rally” on Lawyers Mall (on the north side of the State House) at 12:00 p.m.
Right now Maryland’s forests are half of what they once were. These forests are key to a healthy environment and healthy communities across Maryland. In fact, trees help filter our waters, increase property values, reduce energy costs, provide clean air and wildlife habitat, and improve public health.
We need as many folks there as possible to show support for the the forestry bills HB0599 and SB0365! We’ll be delivering bill information to legislators before and after the rally.
