Forest Bathing Walk with Melanie Choukas-Bradley
April 23, 2017 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Join Rock Creek Conservancy and author/naturalist Melanie Choukas-Bradley for a Shinrin-Yoku, or forest bathing walk, in the Pinehurst Branch area of Rock Creek Park. During this mindfulness walk under the tall trees near the scenic tributary, Melanie will share simple techniques for connecting more deeply with the beauty and wonder of the forest and waters that the Conservancy works so hard to protect. Melanie is the author of A Year in Rock Creek Park and City of Trees and is a Forest Therapy Guide who has received certification with the Association of Nature & Forest Therapy Guides & Programs, Santa Rosa, CA.
