Harvesting and Drying Medicinal Herbs

July 9, 2017 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Sun, July 9, 3 – 5 pm, Harvesting Herbs — How to Dry or Use Fresh for Remedies
Learn how to harvest herbs from the garden, dry them, or use them fresh. In this class we will find some herbs in the garden ready for harvesting and learn how to dry them. We will also learn about herbs that are best using fresh and what remedies are best for using dry. I will go over herbal infusions, oils, fresh plant teas, poultices, and more.
Leave the garden with plants to keep drying at home!

This is part of a 4-part series to learn how to use herbs medicinally with April Rameé of Antler Alchemy. Each workshop can be taken individually or as part of the series.
