Keeping small critters

Have you been interested in raising some of your own animal protein, but not sure you can or how to get started? Here is your chance to learn some of the details of raising small animals for meat and value added product.
This workshop will go through detailed instruction on husbandry, housing, feeding, potential disease and companioning a variety of different animals such as chicken, pigeon, quail, duck, guinea pig, rabbits and a bit on invertebrates for human consumption or insect protein for feed.
There will be a variety of animals at this workshop for folks to check in with and observe behavior and different traits. There will be no killing, processing or butchering of any animals at this workshop. There will be critters available for purchase. If you’re interested in taking something home it would be best to contact us ahead of time to make sure we have sufficient supply.
