Kingman Island Bluegrass Festival

DOEE and DPW are once again working with Living Classrooms to make the Kingman Island Bluegrass Festival a zero waste event. Again this year, we need volunteers to help man waste stations and help festivalgoers sort their waste. There are shifts available for the 2:30-6:30pm shift and the 6-9pm shift. To sign up go the signup genius page (http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0d4ea4a829a4fd0-kingman3) , a choose “Area 3.” When it asks who you are volunteering with, fill in Sustainable DC.
All volunteers receive free entry to the festival, a volunteer t-shirt, a reusable cup, and one complimentary beer ticket. All late shift volunteers (start time 5:30pm or later) will receive a gift certificate for a free wine tasting at Total Wine in Bethesda!
