Lecture: Stories of Medicinal Plants from the Past

March 25, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Medicinal plants come to us loaded with a long and often unknown history, and sometimes also with curious and unexpected stories. This presentation will investigate the intriguing history of some such plants, tracing their long journey from far countries through the West, identifying the facts beyond the legends, and also throwing light on the narrative of their alleged discovery.
