Mission to Flint Fundraiser: Movie and Open Mic

Come join us this Sunday to see our filters and learn more about our Mission to Flint and Bio Filter Workshop. If you haven’t already, please check out our Go Fund Me page for more detail: https://www.gofundme.com/mission2flint
At 2 we will be screening “Dirt! The Movie” with time for informal discussion after. The film is 80 minutes and appropriate for all ages.
The open mic portion of the afternoon will get going around 4. Please message or email us if you would like to perform. Comedians, acoustic musicians, poets and others are encouraged to join in, we would just like to know what to expect! Please be aware that we are hosting in a barn in a residential area, not a bar, so we cannot accommodate large or loud acts.
This event is BYOB (but keep in mind, this is a Sunday afternoon!) and children are welcome.
Suggested donation is $15, the cost of one filter unit, but any amount helps! We will be updating with links to more information about what is happening in Flint and recent updates.
