Organic Vegetable Twilight Tour with UMD Extension

Join us at the University of Maryland’s Upper Marlboro Research Center for a free evening wagon tour of their organic vegetable research fields and dinner!

Tour the University of Maryland organic vegetable research fields and learn about their latest research. Current projects include methods to mitigate possible climate change field problems, cantaloupe production food safety, companion plantings for increased biocontrol, cover crop effects on pests, and organic system weed control. Dinner will be served at 5:00 pm and wagon tours will begin at 6:00 pm. This is your opportunity to learn more about UMD’s research on organic systems and to provide feedback!
