Plant & Nature Walk with Victoria Greba

Join Victoria on a walk through local meadow, forest, and stream to learn about the many wild edible, medicinal, useful, and magical plants of Summer! You’ll learn how to recognize each plant in its Summer stage of growth, how to harvest and prepare edible plants and simple medicines, and how to use certain plants for crafts like fiber, tanning, or basketry, or basic needs like fire. Hear stories, taste the plants, ask questions, and enjoy the day with other nature loving folks.
Please wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes for moderate hiking. Bring water, a notebook, camera, a snack, bug repellent, or anything else you need to feel comfortable. A bathroom will be nearby at the beginning of the walk.
Registration: $20 per person.
