Rod and Reef Slam

October 7, 2017 @ 6:45 am - 9:45 am

Help us prove that oyster restoration is making a difference.

Join us October 7 for our Rod and Reef Slam Fishing Tournament!

Register here! – http://www.cbf.org/slam

After several years of oyster restoration efforts, hundreds of acres of Midshore river bottom are teeming with billions of oysters planted on new and existing reefs. By participating in the Rod and Reef Slam, you can experience one of the many benefits that restored oyster reefs bring—more fish!

Compete to catch (and release!) the largest number of fish species on three restored oyster reefs: the Tilghman Reef just outside Knapps Narrows, the Harris Creek reefs, and the Cook’s Point reef ball field in the mouth of the Choptank.

Don’t fish? Register for the afterparty only and enjoy food, entertainment, a cash bar, and loads of information about what restored oyster reefs mean for fish in the Bay.

Space is limited, register now! – http://www.cbf.org/slam

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to appreciate the value of restored oyster reefs.
