Self Bow

The self bow takes any archer to the most intimate level of archery possible. This is a weekend course designed to take any person from A-Z of crafting their own personal bow. At the end of this weekend course all participants will leave with their self bow crafted by your own hands. Participants should be competent with basic hand tools. Lunch will be provided on Saturday and Sunday.
Friday 4-6 pm
Choosing and ax felling a tree of choice. Shave the bark off and split the wood into bow stave sizes.
Saturday 10am – 4pm
Reducing the stave.
Sunday 10 am – 4pm
Tillering to finish
