Tour: Toxic Plants: Friend or Foe?

Most plants are not meant for human consumption, and some are fatal if ingested. Join Beth Burrous, biochemist & USBG docent, on a tour of Frightful Flora and learn about why plants make toxins. She will share famous and gruesome plant poisoning stories along with tales of toxic plants with silver-linings that benefit people, animals, and insects.
