Tree Planting – Antietam Creek Watershed (MD)

Join us to help plant native trees and shrubs on a farm in the Antietam Creek watershed for over 15 years, fencing cattle out of streams and restoring stream side forest buffers.
Orcino Farms is converting over 100 acres of cornfields to permanent pasture to establish a rotational grazing operation for beef cattle. The water well, water troughs, and cattle stream exclusion fencing are under construction. Come help us with the final stages of restoring this floodplain.
Project Partners include the Washington County Soil Conservation District, Antietam-Conococheague Watershed Alliance – ACWA, and the Antietam Fly Fishers.
