UDC CAUSES: 9/11 Day of Service

UDC CAUSES is partnering up with the Mission Continues for their 9/11 Day of Service at East Capitol Urban Farm on Saturday, September 9th. Our efforts will push East Capitol Urban Farm forward to operationally hosting local kids, the community, and education leaders to provide them with the fruits of their labors and teach them about the efficacy of sustainable, community farming.
The Scope:
The Mission Continues Washington DC Service Platoons will join forces with UDC CAUSES to rebuild and reinforce the following areas:
1. Create a farmers’ market
2. Build a community area
3. Revision the farm’s walking trail
4. Expand on the community garden
5. Engineer the STEM education space
