VoiCeS Dorchester (Volunteers as Chesapeake Stewards)
September 25, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - October 30, 2017 @ 8:30 pm
VoiCeS stands for Volunteers as Chesapeake Stewards. CBF created the VoiCeS program in 2004 as a way to reach out to local volunteers and their communities and create a deeper understanding of the Bay and the efforts to restore it. VoiCeS is CBF’s most in-depth adult education program available to its members and the public.
In this professionally taught course, participants learn about the Chesapeake Bay watershed, its benefits and its issues, and what volunteers can do to help restore it. The course meets weekly on Mondays for six weeks, beginning on September 25th. It also includes one Saturday field trip and preparation for any advocacy or volunteer projects to be undertaken by participants after the course.

There is a materials fee of $35 per person.
Participants are expected to attend at least five of the six classroom sessions, as well as the field trip. This course is open to all Marylanders.
