Winter Solstice Gathering

Join Washington Parks & People in celebrating the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year.
We will gather at the Josephine Butler Parks Center at 6:30pm to reflect on the past year and look forward to the year to come.
All will be welcomed to light a candle and walk with us across the street to Meridian Hill/ Malcolm X Park, a hub of arts & culture for surrounding neighborhoods, and for everyone in DC.
We will have hot cocoa + holiday cookies. Come as you are!
