WORKSHOP: Creating Artistic Floral Portraits
August 5, 2017 @ 10:30 am - 4:30 pm
Almost every photographer starts with photographing flowers as it makes for an easy subject. It’s not difficult to make good flower images, but it takes passion and dedication to make a great composition. If your flower photographs are less than spectacular, then this is the workshop for you! Join Padma as she leads you through various techniques for creating artistic photographs to highlight the mystery and divine beauty of flowers. After the workshop, attendees will have access to a private Facebook page where they can share their images shot during the workshop and Padma can discuss & critique workshop images posted. Please note: This workshop is for anyone who is knowledgeable enough to operate their camera in manual mode. Attendees should bring a camera that has manual mode, a 50mm or 100mm macro lens (if possible), extension tubes that can be attached to a regular lens, and a notebook to write down post processing instructions. Please bring a lunch.
