Spring Garden Party

Welcome the growing season with us and enjoy ongoing activities and demonstrations for the whole family. We’ll be getting into the springtime spirit with a nursery full of blooms, seasonal spirits and snacks, and a few of our favorite spring gardening seminars.
11 am: Selecting, Planting and Caring for Boxwoods, with Robert Saunders, Saunders Brothers Nursery
Noon: Northern Virginia Native Plants, with the Plant NoVA Natives team
1 pm: Creating a Low-Maintenance Garden, with Nikki Norton, Merrifield Plant Specialist
2 pm: Spring Flowering Trees and Shrubs, with Danielle Hall, Merrifield Plant Specialist
Every 45 minutes: Just for Kids Spring Planting
Stop by anytime throughout the day to:
Enjoy seasonal snacks and beer, wine and cider tastings
Discover a new favorite pollinator attractor
Create your own spring-fresh container with our nursery and design team (containers, plants, accessories and materials must be purchased to receive complimentary potting services)
