DC Sierra Club Environmental Justice Committee

The Environmental Justice Committee will act in solidarity with impoverished communities and communities of color who are organizing to combat environmental hazards/racism in Washington, D.C. The EJ committee will focus on leading and supporting *and winning* environmental justice campaigns with marginalized groups and address environmental inequality issues in D.C., as a way to build a more diverse base for the club, pull more people of color into environmental action in d.c. and as a way to improve the environment.
